Robert Altman , 1925 - 2006

According to MSNBC:

"The director died Monday night, Joshua Astrachan, a producer at
Altman’s Sandcastle 5 Productions in New York City, told The Associated
Press."

M*A*S*H is one of my top ten favorite movies.  He had 5 best director nominations with narry a win.  His style and storytelling will be missed.
